Contractor-in-Charg is seeking a Call Center Agent to professionally handle inbound and outbound calls, book and dispatch jobs, and maintain CRM accuracy. The role emphasizes a sales mindset, turning inquiries into booked appointments while protecting every call as a potential booking.

You will work from home with a flexible schedule, earn a starting salary of $19 per hour, receive an equipment stipend, and access benefits after probation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Self-starter with reliability and flexible hours.
• Strong accuracy and efficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional, courteous customer service mindset.
• Computer literacy and typing 30+ WPM; MS Office experience.
• Strong multitasking and follow-up abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with scheduling software (ServiceTitan, FieldEdge, Housecall Pro or similar) preferred.
• HVAC, plumbing, or electrical home-service dispatch experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls or online inquiries, as the initial point of contact.
• Using a company-prepared script, answer our customers’ questions and guide them to the best service-solution for their home.
• Provide a sense of calm and exhibit empathy for customers, so they feel comfortable.
• Conduct service-related, follow-up calls to check in on past customers and assess their current needs.
• Help the field team by taking detailed notes from customer calls and entering them into our system.
• Contribute to our company’s culture by being upbeat and hard-working.
