Coding Concepts, LLC. is seeking an experienced Facility, Ancillary, and Profee Coder to support accurate coding for a Critical Access Hospital.

You will handle facility and professional fee coding across ED, inpatient, swing bed, and ancillary services, ensuring compliance and proper documentation for optimal reimbursement. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with providers and the revenue cycle team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outpatient coding experience, preferably in CAH or similar setting.
• Certification: CPC, COC, or CCS required.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding.
• Experience with claim edits and denial management is a plus.
• Proficient with EHR and encoder systems (Epic, 3M, Meditech, Evident, TruCode).

Responsabilités

• Assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for outpatient encounters (ED, observation, surgery, ancillary).
• Code facility and professional fee components accurately.
• Review and resolve claim edits and denials related to coding or medical necessity.
• Collaborate with providers and revenue cycle team to ensure complete documentation.
• Stay current with coding regulations and CAH billing requirements.
