Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a Hardware Expert with strong CAD and mechanical design skills to support an AI training project. The role involves Python scripting for CAD automation, creating precise 3D models, and validating formats such as STEP across global remote work.

You will interpret engineering drawings, develop complex geometries, and ensure accuracy in dimensions, topology, and physical properties. Prior experience with multiple CAD tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with CAD and mechanical design.
• Good Python and 3D spatial reasoning skills.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings and validating CAD models.
• Familiarity with FreeCAD, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Onshape, CadQuery, or similar tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and create accurate 3D CAD models.
• Develop complex mechanical geometry using CAD tools.
• Use Python for CAD automation and programmatic modeling.
• Export and validate STEP and other solid-model formats.
• Verify dimensions, geometry, topology, and physical properties.
• Troubleshoot and refine CAD models for accuracy.
