Job summary

INNERGY is seeking a Solutions Engineer to bridge CAD/CAM product capabilities with custom manufacturers. You’ll partner with Sales to demonstrate value, translate requirements into scalable CAD/CAM solutions, and support complex deals across North America.

You’ll work at the intersection of design, engineering, and production, translating technical concepts into practical outcomes for millwork shops and cabinetry firms while traveling up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Background in architectural millwork, casework, or cabinetry preferred.
• 3+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or technical consulting in manufacturing software or CAD/CAM.
• Ability to build trust with shop owners, engineers, and production managers.
• Consultative mindset: uncover bottlenecks and map to practical solutions.
• Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM software and post-processors; design libraries and automation.
• Thrives in a fast-moving SaaS environment with ownership of outcomes.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to explain CNC post-processors engagingly.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for trade shows and customer visits.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to own the technical pre-sales cycle for CAD/CAM and the INNERGY ecosystem.
• Lead tailored product demonstrations of CAD-based design, engineering, and manufacturing workflows.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable CAD/CAM solutions and production outputs.
• Guide prospects through engineer-to-order and custom manufacturing environments.
• Support technical validations, proofs-of-concept, and complex deal cycles.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to align customer needs with capabilities.
• Represent the voice of the customer to Product, Engineering, and Sales leadership.
• Refine demo environments, including libraries, renderings, and outputs.
• Promote INNERGY at industry trade shows and events; support education sessions.
