Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Buyer to join the procurement team. This fully remote role lets you manage purchasing activities from anywhere, sourcing materials and services, negotiating prices and terms, and ensuring timely delivery to meet operational demands.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in supply chain or a related field, at least three years in buying, strong negotiation, and proficiency with procurement software and virtual tools to coordinate with suppliers and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field (Supply Chain Management, Business Administration) is required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a buyer or purchasing role.
Proven negotiation skills and contract management experience.

Responsibilities

Source and procure goods and services according to requirements and company policies.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Manage supplier relationships to meet contractual obligations and quality standards.
Process purchase orders accurately and maintain transaction records.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments for timely replenishment.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
