Job summary

GCG Custom Engineered Solutions is seeking a Buyer to join our procurement team in the United States. You will plan and purchase raw materials for cable assembly operations, manage POs, monitor delivery schedules, and help maintain inventory levels to support on-time production.

The role collaborates with production, engineering, and suppliers to optimize cost, lead times, and supplier performance. A bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in purchasing or materials planning are preferred; Oracle ERP

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, buyer, or materials planning in manufacturing.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders from requisition through receipt, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Plan and maintain inventory levels using MRP outputs; adjust safety stock.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing and lead times.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and supply chain to align material availability and resolve issues.
