Job summary

Sistema Technologies, a Texas-based IT staffing and delivery firm, seeks a Senior Business Analyst for a state/local government project in Austin. Hybrid work with onsite at client site as needed.

The BA will act as the conduit between the program community and software development, guiding requirements through the SDLC and verifying implementation. Experience with JAD, use cases, user stories, and TEA tools is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience eliciting requirements from interviews with customers.
• Experience with software development life cycles (SDLCs).

Responsibilities

• Analyze user needs, business processes, pain points, and computer system capabilities to automate or improve existing systems.
• Transform information from elicitation sessions into business and functional requirements, use cases, user stories, and software requirements specifications documents.
• Mentor peers on BA best practices and share knowledge.
• Use TEA tools such as Jira and Modern Requirements to manage change control and track requirements status.
