Job summary

Mitratech, a leader in legal, risk, compliance and HR tech, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to bridge stakeholder needs with the development team. You will own the end-to-end requirements process across analytics, BI, and reporting, translating needs into clear, dev-ready documentation so teams can execute with confidence.

This role can be performed 100% remote, anywhere in the US, with a focus on thorough, collaborative analysis, agile delivery, and measurable outcomes that drive

Qualifications

• Experience gathering and documenting complex business requirements across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication; translate concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in agile environments.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and drive clarity in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own the intake and discovery process for internal data initiatives.
• Lead requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into clear, dev-ready documentation with user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain a groomed backlog with the Technical Project Manager.
• Serve as the ongoing point of contact for stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define requirements for analytics, BI, and reporting Solutions with KPIs.
• Support stakeholder validation of early builds and prototypes.
• Identify gaps or risks early and resolve them proactively.
• Participate in agile ceremonies to keep stories aligned with stakeholder intent.
