You will partner with clients to clarify goals, produce robust documentation, and support testing to ensure delivered solutions meet expectations. Remote-friendly roles with Springfield, MO or Tulsa, OK focus are available in the USA.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Ability to translate business concepts into technical documentation.
• Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to ask the right questions and challenge assumptions constructively.
• Comfort working across multiple clients and projects.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt in evolving or incomplete requirements environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with clients to understand processes, goals, and challenges.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into actionable requirements for engineering teams.
• Create and maintain documentation: business requirements, functional specs, process diagrams.
• Collaborate with Senior Software Engineers and Architects to clarify requirements.
• Identify gaps, assumptions, and dependencies early to manage scope.
• Participate in client meetings, discovery sessions, and solution discussions.
• Support testing and validation to ensure solutions meet expectations.
• Advocate for both the client and delivery team.
