Job summary

Empirical is seeking a Business Process Automation Specialist to design, build, and maintain automation that connects cross‑functional operations. You’ll partner with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and implement scalable workflows across Google Workspace, Asana, HubSpot, Slack, and more.

You will develop solutions using Google Apps Script and no‑code platforms, build REST API integrations, and explore AI‑driven automation to improve efficiency and governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business process automation, systems integration, or process improvement.
• Strong experience with Google Apps Script (JavaScript) and advanced Google Workspace tools.
• Hands‑on experience with automation platforms such as Zapier or Make.
• Experience integrating business systems using REST APIs and webhooks.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Asana, HubSpot, Slack, and Looker Studio.
• Experience identifying automation opportunities and translating business needs into practical technical solutions.
• Ability to build iterative solutions and deliver MVPs quickly.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced English required.
• Familiarity with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Design, build, and maintain automation workflows across Google Workspace, Asana, HubSpot, Slack, and other business platforms.
• Develop custom solutions using Google Apps Script, Google Sheets, and no‑code automation platforms such as Zapier or Make.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and third‑party services.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools and LLMs to automate analysis, document processing, categorization, and other operational workflows.
• Improve data quality through validation, exception handling, and workflow governance.
• Create technical documentation, SOPs, and training materials to support adoption across the organization.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and business teams to ensure scalable and maintainable automation solutions.
