Job summary

Trillium Construction is seeking a Business Development Manager – Owner’s Representative for a full-time, remote, direct-hire opportunity. Base pay is $125,000 with an aggressive uncapped commission plan and guarantees in the first year.

The ideal candidate has a background in Owner’s Representative, Project Management, or Construction Management and will leverage industry relationships to secure new projects, partner with property owners and developers, and drive growth across the commercial

Qualifications

• Experience with Owner’s Representative, Project Management, Construction Management or similar professional services firms.
• Proven ability to generate new business and secure qualified project opportunities.
• Established relationships with property owners, developers, investors, asset managers, or CRE professionals.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction, real estate development, renovations, and capital improvements.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM or similar platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with property owners, developers, investors, and other decision-makers to generate new business.
• Identify upcoming construction, renovation, development, and capital improvement projects that align with company services.
• Introduce the company to prospective clients and facilitate initial meetings and discussions.
• Generate qualified project leads through networking, referrals, industry connections, and direct business development efforts.
• Maintain a pipeline of prospects and opportunities and provide updates to leadership.
• Coordinate with leadership and project management to align BD efforts with capabilities and markets.
• Attend industry events and client meetings to expand market presence and relationships.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, referrals, and opportunities in Salesforce CRM.
• Coordinate the transition of qualified opportunities to internal teams for pursuit.
