Job summary
Vertech is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Industrial Networking & Cybersecurity (INCS) team. This national, quota-carrying role focuses on growing new business and expanding INCS services across Energy, Water, Municipal, and Manufacturing sectors from a remote, United States-wide location.
You will open doors, build trusted relationships with executives and engineers, translate OT networking and cybersecurity needs into business value, and partner with Vertech's technical teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, IT, cybersecurity, business, or related field.
- Five+ years in industrial cybersecurity, networking, automation, or complex technical solution sales.
- Proven quota achievement and pipeline development.
- Experience selling complex project-based and recurring services.
- Knowledge of Purdue Model, OT cybersecurity basics.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify INCS opportunities across priority markets nationwide.
- Develop account and territory plans to build pipeline.
- Prospect new clients and expand services with Vertech customers.
- Build relationships with executives, operations, IT, OT, cybersecurity teams.
- Write proposals, present to clients, and negotiate terms.
- Hand off won work to delivery teams and support post-sale growth.
