Job summary

Japanese IT company seeks a Sr. OT Network Engineer to lead onsite OT networking initiatives in Princeton, IN or Liberty, NC. You will deploy OT network infrastructure, ensure secure, resilient designs for industrial environments, and support plant-floor connectivity.

You will design IDMZ architectures, implement segmentation and access controls, mentor IT and operations staff, and coordinate with vendors on incidents and project cutovers. This is a contract W-2 onsite role with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience in a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive network engineering experience.
• Experience in OT/industrial or manufacturing networks.
• Knowledge of enterprise networking and secure design.
• Experience with high-availability production environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite network engineer for OT initiatives.
• Lead deployment and adoption of OT network infrastructure.
• Design secure, resilient networks for industrial environments.
• Incorporate OT cybersecurity (segmentation, IDMZ, access control).
• Escalation support for network incidents and vendor coordination.
• Document OT environments and network standards.
• Mentor local IT and operations staff on OT networking.
• Contribute to project planning, cutovers and maintenance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
