Job summary

RouteOne seeks a Business Development Manager in the CT/NY area to grow revenue and manage dealer and lender relationships across Connecticut, NYC metro, and Long Island. The role covers in-market activity from the greater Greenwich area, focusing on sales strategy, reports, and product opportunities.

The candidate will work with lenders and dealers, traveling regularly to client sites and conferences. A strong background in dealership systems, credit processes, and online products is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of sales experience.
• Must have access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Remote field-based role requiring regular in-person dealership visits and significant territory travel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on account strategy including meeting all timeline metrics for each account.
• Identify new opportunities within the market and assess competitive products and services.
• Assist in acquiring new lender accounts and maintain relationships with lenders.
• Provide lender field sales support and training; engage with clients via in-person, phone, and online channels to close sales.
• Increase application volume within RouteOne dealerships and expand revenue from eContracting and related dealer tools.
• Develop and maintain a contact plan for all accounts and document activities in CRM.
• Respond to client inquiries and offer guidance on RouteOne products and services.
