Job summary

JD Power is seeking a Business Development Manager for Direct Markets. This remote-friendly role focuses on driving new business with automotive dealers, dealer groups, and auctions, while representing the full JD Power Dealer Solutions portfolio.

You will manage a book of business, develop opportunities, and lead conversations to improve dealer performance across digital retailing, F&I, inventory, marketing, data analytics, and operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience.
• Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of automotive dealership operations and profitability drivers.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and executive relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, develop, and close new business across Direct Markets territories.
• Manage assigned opportunities and dealer relationships within Direct Markets.
• Build consultative relationships with dealer principals and senior leadership.
• Deliver product positioning, proposals, and executive-level presentations.
