Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Business Banking Underwriter III to underwrite commercial loans and assess creditworthiness in accordance with lending policy. The role requires maintaining a productive pipeline, reviewing financial data, and applying single-approval authority up to $3MM.

The position also involves mentoring new hires and supporting the UWI and UW II families, with responsibilities across the line of business as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 5+ years of business or commercial underwriting experience.
• Ability to underwrite credits up to $2.5MM and beyond as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an individual pipeline of work to support production.
• Review financial and credit information to make sound credit decisions.
• Underwriting authority up to $3MM single approval.
• Assess risk profile of borrowers.
• Train and mentor new hires (UWI & UW II).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
