Job summary

PingWind is seeking a Business Analyst to support the FSA Identity and Access Management modernization within an Agile team. The role partners with the government Product Owner and stakeholders to translate needs into clear requirements and deliver valuable features in sprints.

Responsibilities include discovery, user research using HCD, backlog prioritization, and ensuring work aligns with the Definition of Done, while coordinating change requests and proofs of concept to maintain alignment

Qualifications

• Gathers, analyzes, and documents business and user requirements.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum or SAFe preferred).
• Skilled at writing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog prioritization.
• Good understanding of Human-Centered Design and user research techniques.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient with Agile tools such as Jira or similar.
• Ability to manage change requests and support project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan work with government Product Owner, stakeholders, and dev team; help prioritize backlog.
• Conduct discovery and user research using Human-Centered Design practices.
• Support Agile Project Management with lean thinking, flexibility, and continuous improvement.
• Define and refine user stories and tasks; ensure work meets the Definition of Done.
• Package completed stories into releasable features; coordinate change requests.
• Coordinate proofs of concept and project activities to stay aligned with priorities.
