Job summary

Career Team is seeking a Business Analyst for Workforce Development Software to own discovery and translate policy needs into build-ready user stories. You will support UAT, go-live, and ongoing requirements management for a SaaS platform focused on WIOA case management and reporting.

The role emphasizes client workshops, clear documentation, and collaboration with Product, Engineering, QA, and data teams to ensure successful implementations and ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• The role requires 2+ years in workforce development and knowledge of WIOA, eligibility, and reporting.
• Strong facilitation and documentation skills to translate complex processes into testable requirements.
• Experience with financials, budgeting, and grant reporting helps ensure audit-ready outputs.
• Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, and QA teams.
• Comfort with communicating findings to executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Attend client workshops to document workflows (intake/eligibility, enrollment, services, case notes, exits).
• Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and configuration/business rules.
• Partner with Product/Engineering/QA to design solutions and manage scope changes.
• Support integrations and data mapping (imports/exports, APIs) and reporting needs.
• Plan and execute UAT with customers; triage defects and validate fixes.
