Valiant Solutions is seeking a Business Analyst to support an agile software development practice for a federal government client focused on environmental sustainability. The BA will gather requirements, translate them into functional specs, and collaborate with development teams to ensure UI/UX meets stakeholder needs and aligns with project goals.

This position offers 100% remote work and a strong emphasis on clean communications and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Business Analyst.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Visio or JIRA for process modeling.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and data to identify improvements.
• Gather requirements and document processes with stakeholders.
• Develop business requirements documents and functional specs.
• Coordinate with developers and project managers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Create project plans, status reports, and training materials.
• Conduct user acceptance testing.
