LanguageLine Solutions is hiring Bunong-English interpreters to work from home in the United States as part-time contractors. You will handle on-demand phone interpretation across healthcare, government, and business sectors, serving as a bridge between Bunong and English speakers.

The role is remote, requires strong Bunong/English fluency, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to handle high-stress calls. Training is provided; benefits are not included due to independent contractor status.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Bunong and English; cultural competency preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; work authorization in the US.
• Excellent listening, retention and note-taking skills for accurate interpretation.

Responsabilités

• Respond promptly to sessions and interpret in a friendly, professional manner.
• Render correct concepts and meanings per established interpretation protocol.
• Speak clearly in Bunong and English with proper pronunciation and enunciation.
• Maintain a professional demeanour and calm on calls, including emergencies.
• Maintain punctuality, follow client instructions and ensure confidentiality.
