Job summary

Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) is seeking a Building Engineer to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot building systems across North Broward, Palm Beach, and Indian River Counties. The role focuses on servicing SCCU branches with routine maintenance, safety compliance, and timely response to service requests.

Qualified candidates will have a HS diploma or GED, EPA 608 certification, and 4+ years in building engineering (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• A valid Universal level EPA Section 608 certification is required.
• A valid Florida driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required.
• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, maintenance).
• 3-5 years of job-related experience or commensurate trade experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of building systems.
• Respond to service requests including hot/cold calls, plumbing, and lighting repairs.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and escalate complex issues.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and equipment performance.
• Interact with occupants, contractors, and facilities management.
