Job summary

Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) is seeking a Building Engineer for its Miramar Operations Center, covering North Broward, Palm Beach, and Indian River Counties. You will maintain, operate, and troubleshoot building systems, manage service requests, and work with facilities leadership to keep locations safe and compliant.

The role requires 4+ years in building engineering, HVAC focus, Florida EPA 608 certification, a Florida driver’s license, and a HS diploma or GED. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and maintenance.
• Strong background in system design and application of building engineering principles.
• Valid Florida driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems to ensure safe operation.
• Respond to service requests and manage preventive maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and escalate complex issues.
• Oversee contractors and coordinate with facilities leadership for smooth operations.
• Maintain records of inspections and equipment performance.
