Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Remote Monitoring Specialist I to monitor building automation systems and support HVAC technicians from a remote location. You will handle customer service, diagnose control issues, and coordinate with local offices as needed.

The role emphasizes remote operation, continuous learning, safety compliance, and professional communication with diverse customers across the building automation landscape.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training or equivalent experience in BAS/HVAC preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification within 90 days of hire; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive and professional customer service to build lasting relationships.
• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot direct digital control systems.
• Provide controls technical support to HVAC technicians.
• Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, and other reports promptly.
• Communicate status to customers before, during, and after calls; explain technical details clearly.
• Participate in Daikin training programs and maintain required certifications.
• Uphold company standards, policies and safety guidelines.
