Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Remote Monitoring Specialist I for a full-time, remote role. You will monitor building automation systems, deliver customer service, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with local offices for service of commercial building digital controls.

Responsibilities include diagnosing DDC systems, providing technical support to HVAC technicians, and handling documentation while upholding safety policies and ongoing training requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Technical training and 0-2 years of equivalent education/experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Rotational Emergency Call Support as required.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive and professional customer service with the goal of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot direct digital control systems.
• Provide controls technical support to HVAC technicians.
• Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, technician tip reports, and other articles as required and in a timely manner.
• Interact with customers by offering status reports before, during, and after each call and explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in available training through regional technician trainers, off-site learning modules, and Daikin Learning. Maintain all required certifications and continue to develop new skill sets.
• Ensure standards, policies, and procedures are always upheld.
• Follow all OSHA and Daikin Applied safety policies and procedures.
