Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas Inc is seeking a full-time Remote Monitoring Specialist I. You will monitor building automation systems remotely, provide customer service, troubleshoot issues, and contact local offices for service of commercial digital controls.

This role is remote with growth through training and certifications. Responsibilities include diagnosing direct digital control systems, supporting HVAC technicians, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Technical training and 0-2 years of equivalent education/experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Rotational Emergency Call Support as required.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive, professional customer service while building relationships.
• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot direct digital control systems.
• Provide controls technical support to HVAC technicians.
• Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, and related reports timely.
• Communicate status reports before, during, and after each call.
• Participate in training through regional trainers and online modules.
• Maintain required certifications and develop new skills.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety rules.
