Job summary

Southern Energy Management (SEM) is seeking a Business Development Representative for the Coastal Carolinas region. This remote role, ideally based in Myrtle Beach, SC, focuses on sales and account development for our Single Family Building Performance team across Wilmington, Myrtle Beach, and Charleston.

The role involves builder/customer outreach, CRM data maintenance, and collaboration with field operations, sales, and marketing to grow builder energy services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sales or business development preferred.
• Experience with builder/developer or construction/energy sectors is a plus.
• Ability to manage a CRM with accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

• Lead builder sales efforts across Wilmington, Myrtle Beach, and Charleston markets.
• Develop and execute strategies to win new builder and trade accounts.
• Identify, pursue new opportunities within the territory.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective clients.
• Conduct prospecting, sales meetings, and follow-ups with prospects.
• Grow existing accounts and deepen relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop client solutions.
• Represent SEM professionally in residential construction communities.
