Job summary

WCG Clinical, Inc. is seeking a Budget Analyst to support the start-up process for site clients by building and negotiating clinical trial budgets, interpreting protocols, and applying pricing methodologies.

You will read and analyze protocols, identify CPT/HCPCS codes, coordinate with sponsors and internal teams, and ensure accurate, compliant budgets while maintaining attention to detail. This remote role offers opportunities to grow within One WCG and contribute to a mission-driven research

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work in a performance-driven environment with a proactive approach.
• Excellent attention to detail and highly organized.
• Ability to understand clinical terms and descriptors with strong investigative skills.
• Excellent communication (oral/written) and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of clinical trial budgets and budget negotiations.
• Read and analyze clinical trial protocols and develop activity grids.
• Identify CPT/HCPCS codes for items in the activity grid.
• Build comprehensive budgets based on client pricing methodologies.
• Negotiate budgets with trial sponsors/CROs via email and phone.
• Review work as part of internal quality processes.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the role.
