Job summary

Grasshopper Bank is seeking an experienced BSA/AML leader to manage and mentor a team of analysts responsible for onboarding, monitoring, investigations, and SAR filings in a remote-friendly environment.

You will shape risk-based processes, partner with BaaS clients, and ensure compliance programs align with regulatory standards across OFAC, CDD, and EDD. The role requires 7-10+ years in BSA/AML, strong leadership, and CAMS certification.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of progressive experience in BSA/AML compliance within a financial institution or fintech.
• Experience leading or managing a compliance team.
• Knowledge of BSA, AML, and OFAC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and mentor a team of BSA/AML analysts responsible for onboarding, transaction monitoring, investigations, and SAR filings.
• Oversee CDD/EDD processes and ensure timely and accurate filings and reports.
• Collaborate with BaaS partners to align internal controls with risk policies.
• Serve as primary point of contact for law enforcement requests and examinations.
• Maintain detailed records of requests and responses and drive remediation of compliance deficiencies.
