Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Broker Service Representative to handle service-related inquiries and coordinate support across departments. The role offers full-time virtual work with required on-site training sessions and occasional in-person onboarding.

Responsibilities include responding to inquiries via phone, email, or chat for brokers, groups, or account management, resolving errors, and guiding clients through portals and mobile apps. Prior customer service experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years claims/customer service experience or 1 year in an automated environment or any combination
• Associate degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides timely and effective responses to service-related concerns and issues.
• Talks with brokers, groups or account management by phone, email, and/or chat to ensure the best service possible.
• Answers inquiries regarding health plan or service issues, investigates, and resolves errors.
• Coordinates complaint resolution concerning billing, enrollment, claims, benefits, pharmacy, authorizations, coordination of benefits or services rendered.
• Assists with Portal and client Mobile applications and other online tools.
• Completes simple transactions and coordinates service needs with other departments as required to ensure service and satisfaction.
• Occasional member support may be required.
