You will work across teams to resolve exceptions, improve workflows, and reduce manual work, while ensuring compliance with regulated procedures and leveraging AI

Qualifications

• 2+ years in financial services operations or related operational control function.
• Working knowledge of U.S. equities trade lifecycle concepts.
• Experience investigating data breaks or operational exceptions across multiple systems and driving issues to documented resolution.
• Follow documented procedures consistently in a regulated environment and exercise sound judgment on exceptions outside the runbook.
• Familiarity with Apex Clearing, Jira, SQL, or workflow-automation tools.
• Use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily trade, position, balance, and cash reconciliations with Apex records, documenting breaks.
• Support customer account onboarding and maintenance workflows, including documentation review and exception escalation.
• Process inbound and outbound securities transfers (ACATs) end-to-end from intake to submission and tracking.
• Monitor operational alerts and exception queues, coordinating remediation across Engineering, Product, Trading, CX, Compliance, Finance, and Apex.
• Review event notices for corporate actions, monitor deadlines, validate allocations, investigate post-event discrepancies.
• Identify recurring failure modes and propose improvements to reduce manual work and improve customer outcomes.
