Job summary

ABC Fitness seeks a Brazil payroll specialist to own LATAM payroll operations, ensuring accurate, timely processing and compliance. You will collaborate with Brazil HR, finance, and vendors, drive process improvements, and support Workday/Papaya integrations. Fluent Portuguese and English are required for global stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Brazil payroll and personnel administration in a corporate, shared services, or payroll operations environment.
• Knowledge of Brazil payroll compliance, statutory requirements, payroll controls, and payroll-cycle expectations.
• Experience with vendor-led or multi-stakeholder payroll processing, reconciliations, audit support, documentation, and issue tracking.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English with clear communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and support Brazil payroll and personnel administration within LATAM payroll operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing.
• Collect, validate, and submit payroll inputs by calendar cut-offs, including changes, hires, terminations, salary changes, leave, timekeeping, overtime, benefits, and deductions.
• Perform pre- and post-payroll checks for registers, payslips, taxes, FGTS, vacation payments, 13th salary, and terminations.
• Coordinate with payroll vendors and finance on statutory obligations, filings, open items, corrections, and timelines.
• Maintain employee documentation, audit evidence, checklists, reconciliations, and records.
• Respond to inquiries and collaborate with Brazil HR, People/HR, Finance, vendors, managers, and employees to resolve discrepancies.
• Identify process gaps and support improvements, automation opportunities, and Workday/Papaya integrations.
