Job summary

Rippling is seeking a Global Payroll Operations Supervisor (Brazil) to lead the payroll program in Brazil, ensuring accurate, on-time payments for employees and customers while aligning with regulatory requirements.

You will scale a high-performance team, develop repeatable processes, drive cross‑functional product launches, and partner with Legal, Tax, and Engineering to support Brazil market expansion.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years in a Brazilian payroll processing role and minimum of 3+ years managing payroll operations personnel
• Experience leading teams (6+ people)
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Brazilian payroll procedures and regulations (INSS, FGTS, eSocial, IRRF, 13th salary, férias, rescisão)
• Hands-on expertise with local payroll software such as Senior, including configuring and validating outputs
• Proven experience leading customer implementations and onboarding in Brazil
• Experience with in-house payroll processing and via partner/BPO providers
• Excellent planning and organizational skills with capability to manage ad-hoc projects
• Strong experience with Google Suite or MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce, JIRA, Confluence a plus
• Working knowledge of payroll-related systems and software
• Fluency in Portuguese and strong English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll operations for Brazil, ensuring on-time, compliant payroll
• Configure and validate local payroll outputs with Senior software
• Motivate and lead a payroll operations team to meet KPIs
• Hire and train new team members to support Brazil market expansion
• Drive performance to meet deadlines and requirements
• Monitor progress and report KPIs and deadlines
• Facilitate training and development for a high-performing team
• Develop scalable processes to minimize manual errors and enable expansion
• Manage inquiries with government agencies, tax authorities, and customers
• Collaborate with Global Payroll Engineering and Product teams on compliance and product readiness
