General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a BMC Remedy/Helix Developer for remote work across NESD Helix engineering projects.

Formación

• Security clearance (C) with ability to obtain Interim Secret before start.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• BMC Accredited Administrator or Remedy/Helix Developer Studio experience.
• Experience with SAAS solutions or AWS Cloud environments.
• Experience with BMC Remedy 23.x or higher.
• Experience with ITIL methodologies; ITIL Foundation a plus.
• Experience with Helix/Remedy application process flows.
• Familiarity with multiple Helix applications (Incident Management, Change Management, Service Request Management, etc.).
• Experience with Pentaho Spoon, BMC HDM, RestAPI or Webservices for interfaces or data migration.
• Optional: IT Operations Management or related Helix applications.
• Experience with JIRA story management; strong documentation and requirements skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication; proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
• Ability to describe process flows in Visio or similar.
• Relational databases knowledge; networking concepts; OSI model.
• Ability to use logs for troubleshooting; customer demonstrations and requirement gathering.
• Remote work experience; ability to work across multiple projects.
• Required Certification: CompTIA Security+ CE (may obtain within 3 months).
• Education: BS degree; experience may substitute.
• Position Timeline: Pending funding.

Responsabilidades

• Provide accurate technical guidance on application and integration capability.
• Gather requirements, prepare and deliver presentations and demos, write requirements and design documentation, test scripts.
• Develop workflows and integrations including building forms and data imports.
• Develop RestAPI, WebService, and LDAP integrations between Helix and external systems.
• Work incident assignments and communicate with customers within SLA; create change requests and Jira stories.
• Prepare and coordinate change requests; maintain Production environment and meet KPI thresholds.
• Multi-task on projects including onboarding, sustainment, and continual service improvement.
• Identify gaps between out-of-the-box workflows and custom requirements and propose solutions.
• Maintain system integrity with configuration control and change management.
