Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 8+ years in biotech or life sciences business development.
• Deep understanding of scientific, clinical, and regulatory dynamics driving value in therapeutics.
• Proven track record in negotiating and closing complex transactions in biotech.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive BD activities including in-licensing, out-licensing, co-development, and partnerships.
• Coordinate cross-functional diligence with R&D, regulatory, IP, legal, and finance.
• Develop business cases, valuation frameworks, and transaction rationale for senior leadership.
• Structure and finalize term sheets, LOIs, NDAs, and definitive agreements with legal and exec teams.
• Support presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors.
• Build relationships with biotech peers, pharma companies, and academic institutions.
• Serve as a primary contact for partners, ensuring professional oversight and strategic insight.
• Support alliance transition and governance post-signing for successful execution.
• Collaborate with internal leaders across research, development, manufacturing, and commercial.
• Synthesize scientific, clinical, strategic, and financial factors to drive internal alignment.
• Contribute to portfolio prioritization and long-range planning.
• Develop financial frameworks to analyze potential transactions.
