Job summary

Jade Biosciences is seeking a Director, Business Development to drive licensing, partnerships, and strategic transactions across the biotech spectrum. You will coordinate diligence, structure deals, and present to senior leadership, reporting to the CFO.

This remote role requires collaboration with R&D, regulatory, legal, finance, and commercial teams, building strong external relationships while upholding confidentiality and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in business development within biotech or life sciences.
• Experience in technology licensing, research collaborations, and strategic transactions.
• MBA, MD or PhD preferred for deeper industry credibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead or central in licensing opportunities, out-licensing, collaborations, and joint ventures.
• Coordinate cross-functional diligence with R&D, regulatory, legal, and finance teams.
• Develop business cases, valuation frameworks, and transaction rationale.
• Structure and negotiate term sheets and definitive agreements with leadership.
• Support presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors.
