Job summary

Mercer Advisors is seeking a Billing Specialist to join the Operations Team. You will partner with advisors and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely billing for investment management clients, maintain billing instructions, process fees, and support revenue recognition.

Responsibilities include monthly audits, fee calculations, reconciling debits, resolving discrepancies, and responding to billing inquiries.

Qualifications

• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with portfolio accounting and client reporting concepts.
• Proficiency in Excel and billing platforms.
• Familiarity with Orion or Salesforce is a plus.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly billing audits, including fee calculations and adjustments.
• Review client accounts and billing structures for accurate fee schedules.
• Update billing instructions to align with client agreements.
• Reconcile direct debit results and ensure timely fee collection.
• Address billing inquiries from advisors and Client Service teams promptly.
• Monitor outstanding or failed transactions and coordinate resolution.
