Definiti is a remote-first national retirement services company seeking a Billing Specialist to process client invoices in volume and collaborate with internal and external clients. The role emphasizes accuracy, proactive communication, and working within a team to support ongoing growth.

The ideal candidate will have detailed billing experience, ERP exposure (Sage Intacct preferred), and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality service.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Billing experience and/or industry experience preferred.
• ERP system experience preferred (Sage Intacct desired).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all billing tasks.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for handling client inquiries and A/R activities.

Aufgaben

• Establish billing parameters upon receipt of a new or updated client contract.
• Create client invoices accurately and timely according to contract terms.
• Review and confirm invoice details across systems.
• Apply credit memos as needed with supporting documentation.
• Respond to client inquiries, both internal and external, in a timely manner.
• Track and report A/R aging to clients and internal teams.
• Assist Collection Specialists with aged invoices as needed.
• Research discrepancies and provide audit support and schedules.
