Qualifications

• High school diploma or AA in Accounting or related field and 3+ years in revenue cycle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience in hospital or clinic revenue cycle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily billing and follow-up activities for revenue cycle at a PBS location.
• Documents claims billed, paid, settled, and follow-up in systems.
• Identifies and escalates issues affecting billing and follow-up.
• Contacts payer for payment due and responds to mail timely.
• Communicates with hospital departments to clarify billing discrepancies.
• Researches claim rejections, makes corrections, and resolves issues to ensure timely payment.
