Trinity Health is seeking a Remote Billing & Follow-Up Specialist to manage day-to-day billing and follow-up activities for a PBS location. You will document claims, communicate with payers, and help resolve discrepancies to maximize reimbursement while upholding Trinity Health’s mission and standards.

The role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Training and support will be provided to junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Associate's degree in Accounting or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational abilities are essential.

Responsabilités

• Handle daily billing and follow-up activities for the PBS location to maximize reimbursement.
• Document claims billed, paid, settled, and follow-up in the designated systems.
• Identify and escalate issues affecting accurate billing and follow-up and resolve them.
• Communicate with hospital departments to clarify billing discrepancies and obtain necessary information.
• Support training of Billing and Follow-Up Representative I colleagues and provide guidance as needed.
