Job summary

Grow Therapy is seeking a Billing Support Specialist to be at the forefront of making mental healthcare accessible and affordable. You will troubleshoot billing issues, educate Clients and Therapists, and partner with Product teams to improve the platform.

This remote role emphasizes empathy and problem solving in a fast-growing startup. You’ll work to verify benefits, explain EOBs, and advocate for clients while maintaining high service levels and adapting to evolving needs across commercial

Qualifications

• One year of experience with insurance across multiple commercial and government payers.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10/CPT codes (mental health preferred).
• Experience verifying benefits and reading EOBs in ClaimMD or Availity; ability to explain benefits to patients.
• Familiarity with payer portals and remote, async communication.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues Clients and Therapists raise via Phone and Live Chat.
• Dig deep into problems to identify root causes and work with Product teams to improve the platform.
• Assist and educate customers on the Grow Therapy platform, providing great customer service to Clients and Therapists.
• Serve as the customer's go-to resource and advocate, ensuring Clients and Therapists feel heard and supported.
