Job summary

Grow Therapy is on a mission to make high-quality mental healthcare accessible and affordable. As a Billing Support Specialist, you’ll troubleshoot and resolve insurance-related issues for Clients and Therapists, educating them on the Grow Therapy platform while delivering exceptional service.

You’ll collaborate with Product teams to identify root causes and improve the platform, while maintaining a strong focus on customer experience and empathy in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• One year of experience with insurance across multiple commercial and government payers.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology; ICD-10/CPT codes preferable in mental health.
• Experience verifying benefits in Claim MD or Availty; able to explain benefits to patients.
• Experience with various payer portals.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable with ambiguity / asynchronous communication.
• Love for problem solving; curious about health tech.
• Kindness and empathy, prioritizing Customer Experience.
• Able to work independently and remotely, adapt to changing priorities.
• Bonus points if bilingual (Spanish preferably)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues raised by Clients and Therapists via Phone and Live Chat.
• Identify root causes and work with Product teams to improve the platform.
• Educate customers on the Grow Therapy platform and provide excellent service.
• Be the go-to resource and advocate for Clients and Therapists throughout their journey.
