Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY is seeking a Billing Specialist to manage invoicing, review billing accuracy, and coordinate with other departments to ensure compliant processes.

This entry-level role involves processing subcontractor invoices, maintaining accounts receivable logs, and resolving invoice discrepancies with Accounts Receivable. Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and data-entry accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, including Excel and Google Sheets.
• Data entry skills.
• Ability to identify and solve problems.
• Previous Solomon experience preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Plan, organize, multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review technician weekly billing in RTasq for accuracy and corrections.
• Process invoicing for subcontractors.
• Maintain knowledge of customer billing codes and requirements.
• Reconcile billing against customer invoices or create invoices.
• Communicate with customers on invoicing issues and corrections.
• Process technician and subcontractor pay in Solomon with correct codes and overtime.
• Run Solomon reports to ensure processes flow and identify errors.
• Create, process and archive Solomon invoices.
• Assist interdepartmental invoicing and financial matters.
• Keep accounts receivable remittance log and investigate discrepancies.
