Job summary

World Fuel Services is seeking a Billing & Financial Operations Specialist to manage the invoicing lifecycle, ensure timely receipt and processing of supplier invoices, and generate accurate customer invoices. You will work closely with Commercial, Supply, Accounting, and AP teams to resolve billing issues and drive continuous process improvements.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in financial operations, strong Excel and ERP experience, and an eye for detail.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in financial operations, billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable.
• Strong English communication (B2 or above).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP, invoicing, or financial management systems.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage Billing and Invoice Processing.
• Monitor timely receipt of fuel and non-fuel supplier invoices.
• Review and validate supporting documentation (invoices, pricing, tax info).
• Process billing transactions accurately in internal systems.
• Ensure customer invoices are generated and distributed on schedule.
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
• Serve as primary contact for billing inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and support needs.
• Address pricing discrepancies and invoice-related issues.
• Track exception reporting and unresolved transactions.
• Support testing and implementation of system enhancements.
