Job summary

World Fuel seeks a detail-oriented Billing & Financial Operations Specialist to manage the invoicing lifecycle, review supplier invoices, and ensure timely billing. You will be the main point of contact for billing inquiries and work with Commercial, Supply, Accounting, AP, and Sales to resolve issues.

The role emphasizes accuracy, process improvement, and collaboration in a remote-friendly environment with potential cross-border considerations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in financial operations, billing, invoicing, or AR roles.
• Strong English communication skills (B2 or above).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP/invoicing/financial systems and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage billing and invoice processing lifecycle from receipt to distribution.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice status and documentation questions.
• Support pricing, tax information, and related records accuracy.
• Track exceptions, on-hold invoices, and unresolved transactions.
• Identify process improvements and support system enhancements.
