Job summary

Elevate Legal Talent seeks a Billing Analyst – E-Billing Systems to join the legal operations support team. You will administer the e-billing system, manage invoices and matters, coordinate with AP and outside counsel, and help ensure efficient billing workflows across the organization.

This 6-month contract role is remote with a full-time schedule, offering $40-$60/hour commensurate with experience. Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in legal operations support and proven e-billing administration

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in legal department operations support.
• E-billing administrator for one or more systems in prior roles.
• Client-centric, deadline-driven environment experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
• Ability to learn new Legal Tech (AP, Contract mgmt, e-signature, PowerBI/Tableau).
• Experience supporting large-scale legal departments (40+ stakeholders).
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience using metrics and analytics in prior roles.
• Initiative to solve problems and seize opportunities.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in business/finance/operations; paralegal; JD helpful.

Responsibilities

• Administer day-to-day operations for the e-billing system.
• Support electronic invoice submission, review, processing, and troubleshooting.
• Assist with matter creation, maintenance, updates, and related billing administration.
• Maintain billing rates and rate-related information in systems.
• Monitor billing inboxes, respond to inquiries, escalate issues as needed.
• Partner with law firms, internal legal teams, AP, and stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
• Support workflows between e-billing and AP systems.
• Troubleshoot system and user issues to ensure efficient billing processes.
• Maintain accurate matter, vendor, invoice, and billing data.
• Assist with reporting and other legal billing or operational requests.
