Job summary

Oscar Medical Group is hiring a fluent Spanish-speaking Nurse Practitioner for our remote Virtual Health Assessment team in a part-time, 1099 role.

You will perform preventive care screenings, manage medications, and provide coaching and referrals, with the possibility of cross-training into urgent care and virtual primary care services. Board-certified NP and Florida licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Board certification required (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
• Experience with clinical documentation improvement and HEDIS measures.
• Bilingual NP with license in Florida and ability to obtain licensure in other states.
• Minimum 3 years outpatient Family Medicine/ Internal Medicine/ Primary Care.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive care screenings, medication reconciliation, diagnose conditions and provide health coaching, referrals and treatment when appropriate.
• Outreach members who are chronically ill based on health data.
• Engage members less likely to see their PCP and improve access to care with a licensed provider.
• Cross-train into urgent care and/or virtual primary care service lines.
• Interact with members virtually, including assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
