Job summary

Job Duck is seeking a bilingual Legal Assistant and Client Intake Specialist to support a growing law firm focusing on federal civil rights matters. The role serves as the first point of contact for prospective clients, conducting intake conversations and preparing concise legal documentation.

You will support attorneys and the team while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. The position offers remote work options within the United States and requires excellent English and Spanish

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency required.
• Excellent spoken and written English required.
• Previous experience in legal intake, client intake, or case management preferred.
• Familiarity with civil litigation or federal civil rights matters is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with prospective clients, including those in difficult circumstances.
• Accurately document information obtained during intake calls and maintain organized records.
• Conduct detailed intake conversations to gather relevant information for prospective matters.
• Assist with document preparation, editing, formatting, and manipulation.
• Learn and work independently with additional software and document management systems.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle client and case information with accuracy and discretion.
