Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 6 months minimum experience; strong data entry and telephone skills.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from consumers in accordance with performance standards and privacy policies.
• Respond to all forms of inbound and outbound contacts.
• Document and track inquiries using applicable systems.
• Process new applications for healthcare coverage via phone, including eligibility determinations and enrollment.
• Handle life event changes, demographic updates, unenrollment requests, and special enrollment periods.
• Fulfill caller requests for materials via mail, email, or download.
• Facilitate translation services for non-English speaking callers.
• Escalate calls or issues to designated staff as needed.
• Attend meetings and training sessions; maintain up-to-date knowledge of programs and systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
