Central Jersey Medical Center in Perth Amboy seeks a Call Center Representative to provide high-quality patient and stakeholder support. You will handle incoming calls, assist with scheduling, and route inquiries while maintaining accurate data entry and professional communication.

Ideal candidates will be bilingual in Spanish, possess strong listening and verbal skills, and be comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced medical office setting.

Competenze

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Bilingual Spanish Speaker is required.
• Experience working in a call center or customer-support role or medical office preferred.
• Strong active-listening and verbal-communication skills.
• Proficiency in problem-solving.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Basic use of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Minimum typing speed of 38-40 words per minute.

Mansioni

• Answering phones to respond to inquiries from patients, vendors, insurance companies and other medical facilities. 100-200 calls per day.
• Knowledge scheduling practices of several departments across the medical center.
• Re-scheduling patient appointments via telephone and written notifications.
• Screening and routing patient calls to other departments efficiently, ensuring accurate registration and scheduling.
• Taking clear and accurate messages for other departments.
• Responding to patient questions by editing, canceling and re-scheduling appointments per clinic protocols.
• Reviewing physician schedules to maximize capacity and verify scheduling accuracy.
• Faxing medical records to authorized facilities.
• Maintaining relationships and effective communication within and across departments for patient benefit.
• Inform callers of CJMC policies on arrival times, necessary documents, and cancellation/no-show rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
