Job summary

BCD Travel is seeking a Bid Manager to coordinate responses to RFPs and RFIs, ensuring accurate, high-quality content. You will work with sales, subject-matter experts, and project managers across the global network. The role emphasizes clear communication and meticulous organization.

The position is full-time and US-based with virtual/remote work options. Candidates should be able to travel domestically and internationally as required and align with global timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in proposal writing, journalism, or marketing within a business environment.
• Knowledge of the travel industry is required.
• Strong communication skills in English: oral, written and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess incoming RFPs, RFIs, clarification requests, and other projects, and build project plans based on requirements
• Establish and manage timelines and deliverables
• Finalize the proposal and supporting documents in alignment with established deadlines and delivery methods
• Post all final proposal submissions to designated areas for appropriate sharing, filing, and archiving
• Establish and maintain rapport with all bid teams, holding direct contact with the Project Manager
• Set priorities, manage time, and manage team workload effectively
